I am Kaja Grope, photographer based in Kiel. My focus is on honest, lively portraits and reportages. I take photographs to get closer to the world that surrounds me. I want to find out about people and their relationships, about their connection to themselves, their families and places. I live in Kiel at the Baltic Sea and grew up in northern Germany at the border with Denmark.
